What parents see in your academy's portal

Payments, attendance, matches and upcoming sessions: what a parent sees in your academy's portal, and what they can do without asking your staff.

How many messages does your staff answer every week with the same questions? Whether a payment went through, what time practice starts, whether there is a match on Saturday. When that information lives in a notebook or in one administrator's head, every parent question becomes work for your team. The parent portal in Cantera Soccer exists so that information is always available — without anyone having to ask for it.

Why giving parents access reduces your admin workload

Every family in your academy generates the same queries over and over: balances, schedules, results. If your admin team is the only channel that can answer them, the cost grows with every new player you enroll.

With their own portal, each parent signs in and sees only what belongs to them: their children, their charges, their teams. They don't need to ask in a group chat or wait for someone to reply. For you, that means fewer repetitive messages, fewer misunderstandings about balances due, and a more professional image in front of families.

What a parent sees when they open the portal

The parent dashboard is organized into three tabs — Games, Trainings, and Payments — and shows their children with their team and category, plus the day's events.

Payments and account status

In the Payments tab, each family sees their pending charges broken down by child and by concept, along with their history of completed payments. They also find the academy's bank details for transfers, or they can arrange to pay in cash directly with you. No more arguing over how much is owed: both sides see the same number.

Attendance and upcoming sessions

Starting on the Amateur plan, the Trainings tab shows each child's upcoming training sessions and an attendance summary for the week and the month. Parents stop asking what time practice is or how many sessions their child attended — they can check whenever they want.

Their children's matches

Every scheduled match appears automatically in the portal of that team's parents, with date, time, and venue, and later the result. This works on every plan, with nothing extra to configure.

What a parent can do from the portal

The portal is not read-only: it also handles requests that currently go through your staff.

Confirm match call-ups (Pro plan)

When the coach builds the call-up list for a match, parents get a WhatsApp notice and see the pending call-up in the Games tab, with buttons to confirm or decline their child's attendance and an optional note. They have 30 hours to respond; if they don't, the system automatically marks the child as not attending, so the coach knows exactly who is available.

Report a bank transfer (Pro plan)

With the "Report payment" button, a parent enters their transfer reference, the concept, the amount and — optionally — a photo of the receipt. The report stays "under review" until your academy confirms it or rejects it with a reason. Receipts stop getting lost in chat threads.

Pay online by card (Pro plan)

If your academy enables online payments, parents see a "Pay with card" button on their pending charges. They can also turn on monthly auto-pay so their charges are collected automatically — no reminders, no chasing.

On every plan, parents can also register an additional child from their portal with just a name and date of birth; your academy simply assigns the child to a team. And on the Pro plan they can upload their child's photo and documents — stored encrypted, visible only to the family and the academy — and digitally sign the academy's rules.

Unlimited parent accounts, free on every plan

Here is the part that matters for your budget: parent accounts cost nothing and never count toward any limit. Plan limits apply only to staff and players: the Basic plan ($39.99 USD per month) covers up to 40 players, Amateur ($49.99 USD) up to 80, and Pro ($59.99 USD) unlimited players with 300 WhatsApp messages per cycle.

That means you can invite every family from day one, without calculating how many accounts you can afford. Every parent with access is one less question your staff has to answer.

If you want to see it with your own academy, the 15-day trial is free and requires no credit card: register your players, invite a few families, and measure how many messages you stop answering.
