Frequently asked questions: plans, pricing and account

Before choosing a plan for your soccer academy, it helps to know exactly what each one includes, what it costs and what happens to your data if you switch plans. Here we answer the most common questions about Cantera Soccer's Basic, Amateur and Pro plans, subscription billing, included support and available languages.

What is the difference between the Basic, Amateur and Pro plans?
Basic ($39.99 USD per month) covers up to 40 players with 1 admin, 1 coordinator and 3 coaches. Amateur ($49.99 USD) raises the cap to 80 players and 1/2/5 staff, and adds modules like training sessions with attendance tracking, expense records and printable payment receipts. Pro ($59.99 USD) has no player limit, allows 3/6/12 staff and includes 300 WhatsApp messages per billing cycle, a shared calendar, player photos and documents, digitally signed regulations and equipment inventory. Parents are unlimited on every plan.
If I downgrade my plan, do I lose my academy's data?
No. Players, staff and history are always kept; the platform only blocks new sign-ups that exceed the lower plan's limits. Photos and documents — Pro features — go into safekeeping for at least 15 days: if you return to Pro while they are still stored, they are restored automatically; once the period ends, the platform confirms their permanent deletion. Features exclusive to the higher plan are switched off, but no player or payment data is ever deleted when you change plans.
Can I customize the platform with my academy's name, colors and logo? From the Amateur plan
Yes. From the Amateur plan you can customize your academy's name and colors, in both light and dark mode. The logo and favicon are enabled on the Pro plan, so your staff and parents see your academy's full identity when they log in. On the Basic plan the interface uses Cantera Soccer's standard identity.
Can parents digitally sign my academy's regulations? Pro plan
Yes, on the Pro plan. You upload your regulations as a PDF per role — parents, coordinators, coaches — and each user gets a notice to read the full document and sign it digitally. Every signature is recorded with date, IP address and device, and you can check at any time who has signed and who hasn't. It's a way to back up agreements on conduct, payments and operations without paper or in-person signatures.
Can parents report their bank transfers from the platform? Pro plan
Yes, on the Pro plan. On every plan you can register your academy's bank accounts, and parents see them in their portal as transfer details. With Pro, each parent also reports their payment by entering the reference, concept, amount and an optional receipt screenshot; you review the report and approve it — the payment and income are recorded automatically — or reject it with a reason. That way you identify every transfer without chasing receipts over WhatsApp.
How do I pay for my Cantera Soccer subscription?
Your monthly invoice is generated automatically 3 days before your billing day and is due that same day. When a payment is pending, your dashboard shows a notice with the details to pay by bank transfer, and you receive reminders before and after the due date. If the balance stays unpaid for more than 10 days past the deadline, the platform automatically suspends the academy's access until the payment is settled. You can also pay several months in advance by contacting the support team.
What support is included with my subscription?
Every plan includes email support at contacto@canterasoccer.com, available Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, Central Mexico time. Inside the platform you can also create support tickets from the menu and follow up on the replies right there; in addition, every screen includes a guided tour you can replay with the Help button whenever you need it.
What languages is the platform available in?
Cantera Soccer is available in Spanish and English, so you can run your academy and serve families in either language. Pricing is offered in US dollars — $39.99, $49.99 and $59.99 USD per month depending on the plan — and in Mexican pesos ($599, $799 and $999 MXN) for academies in Mexico.
